Common questions about TBH Scanner.
How accurate is the recognition?
Recognition is currently in beta and uses conservative confidence thresholds. Use uncropped screenshots at 100% UI scaling; low-confidence regions are left unidentified instead of being guessed.
How often are prices updated?
Prices come from the dated Steam Community Market snapshot shown beside each item. They are not live quotes.
Is my data stored?
No. Screenshots are processed in your browser and never uploaded. Price data is bundled into the static site, so viewing it makes no Steam request.
Why does some item show no price?
If an item has zero or very few listings on Steam Community Market, the price endpoint returns no value. That means no active market for it.
Which currencies are supported?
USD, JPY, CNY, EUR. The currency selector uses Steam's priceoverview endpoint which accepts the standard Steam currency IDs.
Can I get historical price trends?
Not in this version. The tool shows current market prices only.
Is this affiliated with the game?
No. TBH Scanner is a community tool. Task Bar Hero is a trademark of Nugem Studio.
